I bought one about two years ago when I needed to replace my SCSI scanner: it does an excellent job without much fuss, even the auto settings work well. I've used it for both 35mm and 6x6, mono and colour media, negatives and positives. It comes with both a "Dust Removal" and Digital ICE options. Scan resolution can be matched to the output automatically, which can be useful. It also, of course, can act as a simple copier! I'd have no hesitation in recommending it.
