I like the look of all of the shots and am not sure I would have wanted more DOF. I am curious though. If you were into pixel-peeping, and if you did a one-to-one comparison of the shot with close-up lens vs. a digital zoom (crop) of the one without close-up lens, would you see a difference in image quality? At screen resolutions, or even for modest print sizes, do you really need the close-up?
