And I also forgot to thank Tim for notifying me of the ebay auction. The auction ended with me as the highest bidder, but still under the lowest limit the seller asked for. He contacted me and I got the lens for 1/3 to 1/2 of what they usually go for. I think he realized the missing tripod mount was quite a limiting factor for the interest in his lens.
