The dogwoods are fruiting like crazy right now in southern Ontario. Check the bark; it'll most often be red.
We have a lot of dogwood around the garden because it provides bright points of colour in the winter. Looks beautiful with snow (remember that stuff?) on it. Thank you, Frank!
