Yeah, that's the error message.
The only difference is my messages don't go into a "sent" folder; when I click
"ok" to acknowledge the error message the window closes & they just disappear.
then perhaps this is an issue with Thunderbird & POP, when encountering this
server error; i would also check your sent mail preferences under Account
Settings > Copies & Folders settings
