That's what I thought you were looking for. I just like my P&S to be in the same system as my main cameras. (Well, actually, my P&S is a Leica X2 which performs on par with most "main" cameras. ;-)

That makes some sort of sense. I've never understood why people want a POS, ops, sorry, P&S as a travel camera. When I go somewhere interesting I want to take my best camera.



I agree - especially if I'm going some place that I'm unlikely to return to. Carting my K-5, backup K200D and a few lenses around the USA became tedious but I don't regret it.
