When I was shooting with the DS, I'd standardized on 2G SD cards. Just run them 
to full, put them into the card wallet when done, and pop in another. They're 
so cheap nowadays I wouldn't worry too much about it. Given the size of DS raw 
files, an 8G card is probably more than adequate. But assuming the DS works 
correctly with SDHC cards, you can use up to 32G cards easily. 

I use 32 and 16G cards now with the M9 and E-M1. I don't really think about the 
capacity much anymore as I almost never fill a card before I get to a computer 
to move the files into long term storage. 

A fast 50 to 35mm lens to complement those two zooms would be great. The Pentax 
FA43/1.9 Limited would be my choice.
