We had a few days at a mountain resort called Crystal Springs (only 7000')
which boasts a large game reserve stretching right down into the lowveld.
There are a lot of antelope & other animals but no introduced predators -
only the odd wild hyaena & leopard. There is a huge bird population. The
whole eastern escarpment is drained by several green canyons. It was
overcast & wet most of the time which didn't make for very good
photography - not up to the standards of Mark, Paul & Dave yet!
