> I am very tempted to get a 2nd K-3 and, but am not convinced that I want the grip - I already have one for my first K-3. And I am not interested in the DA50/1.8.
Two weeks ago I shot a party with the K5. Had I only used the internal battery and swapped as needed I would have had to swap at least once. Maybe twice for a sense of security. But I got one of the cheap Chinese grips with 2 batteries for just over $50. It was nice to have the extra battery power. Yes, I used the vertical release as well. But DSLRs are frustrating just a bit since the finder is not in the middle of the body. The camera has to be held higher (arm position) than a film SLR for vertical shooting. Just an inch or so. But still awkward. At least to me. My only complaint with a grip is if I would need to change both batteries then the grip would have to come off. Not convenient. Too slow for an active environment. I'd like a solution which is a full solution. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
