Wow! When I shoot rock concerts, I shoot upwards of 1,000 images on the K5 (and earlier the K7) and the only time I've ever had to swap batteries mid-stream is if I've been foolish enough to start out with a not-already-fully-charged battery. Are you using the built-in flash, or something else that would chew up your battery quicker than usual?
