They'll face tougher competition with their bike than they will with the
watches. From what I've seen their current bike offerings are rather
specialized city machines.
I learned Shinola is having their bike frames built by an older outfit in
Waterford, Michigan.

recently i tried to look up another Detroit bike brand that i had seen
locally — wound up on the Shinola page, but Shinola bikes are several
times more expensive than the humble brand i was looking for,
detroitbikes.com
