I've found that I can get decent results in spite of my shortcomings, as long
as I'm standing in the right place when something happens.
_That's_ why I like studio shooting so much. I pick the place and time
and pre-arrange for something interesting to happen too.
I haven't a whole lot of patience for the other kinds of shooting these days.
I think I would really miss shooting on-the-fly if I started doing
studio work exclusively. There's something about capturing a moment
that's completely beyond control that I find extremely satisfying -- to
the extent that it completely makes up for the frustration of missed shots.
As they say, it takes all kinds. Different strokes for different folks.
