Yes. 1. It is not working properly. 2. The glitch affects jpgs. 3. I don't shoot jpgs. 4. So, I am not too concerned. No. 1. I have not debugged the firmware to id the exact cause. 2. I will try to reload the current firmware Shen my trip is finished.
