A friend of mine (coming from Olympus 473) bought a D600 with just one lens, waiting to have the money for extra lenses, hence she never changed the lens while the camera kept making the sensor dirty.

However, several Nikon D600 owners 'solved the problem' by buying a D800, hence the D600 issue can be perceived as a marketing measure for selling a cheaper camera and then forcing the customer to buy the good one ;)
