You certainly should like the 18~135 image quality, Collin! Clean and crisp. 
You're not asking, but I prefer the lighter versions of these shots.

I made an executive decision this weekend.
The closer I get to retirement the more preparation I need to do.
So I'm reducing my lens count.  And I am putting a good zoom in place of the
mid-length lenses.
Today I picked up an 18-135 @ a reasonable price.
Took a walking break today and did some first shots with it.  K30.
