Lightroom supports batch renaming. Look in the Library menu when in the Library module. If you change the names of files outside of Lightroom, you'll have to laboriously click on each one and reconnect it to the original entry you made, or lose all the image annotation or adjustments you might have made to the file. In other words, don't do that. ;-) Eric, you've asked a bunch of very basic Lightroom questions recently.
