Nice light and cloud line in the sky with a good sense of depth with the
haze the builds up in more distant areas. The flow of the river, shape
of the left show and the boats heading in generally the same direction
gives it a sense of movement and focus. Make me want to head out into
the harbor.

I had a training ride today which involved quite a lot of riding around the
harbour. One extent of the route was Purau which is a peaceful little bay just
past the town of Diamond Harbour. I sat there and ate a sandwich while
remembering the family day-trips we used to take here when I was a kid. The
sandy beach is off the right of the photo and is actually smaller than I
remember.
In general I have a rule that I don't stop to take photos while riding, but
when I started the climb out of the bay I was confronted with this view and
just couldn't resist.
