The lack of space from the subject to the edges tends to take away from the idea of a krafted, thought out image, and adds to the thought of a quickly taken snapshot.

No, the group is very big and quite likely very diverse... But I was told that the fact that I've put some objects in the frame so that they almost touch the border is quite unorthodox and should be avoided... But I quite like the result :-).
