interesting reading. I've been wanting to try some of those
astrophotography shots if I ever find a dark enough place on a clear
night. That focus issue has me a little stumped.

I found this particularly interesting: "...as Canon points out, many
of today's wide-angle zooms are simply inverted telephoto designs and
they can be affected by temperature changes". I'm not sure exactly
what he means by that but I don't really need to know.
