I do the same (crop as needed) ... although my favorite ratio is the 35 by 24 landscape oriented view, as that is the closest to what I actually see looking through the viewfinder...therefore, it is as I envisaged it :-)

Now what does YMMV mean ?

I think that's the first time I've seen an Australian use YMMV. When I
first saw that acronym a few years ago, it took me ages to figure out
what it meant.

The internationalization of language rolls on...
