Possibly the best, certainly the sharpest, photo ever taken of me was a passport photo done as a black-and-white contact print.
New Delhi in the 70s, & both photographer and equipment looked as though they might have been around since Victoria was Empress. He had an 8x10 view camera, but I think 6x6 cm negative.
