Frank, Bob, Dave,
I do have another edit with no building on the left. The similar kind of
processing is applied. I should post it just so... I have to say that I
posted this image to a certain community at Google+, though with very
different and rather weak edit. Got lots of helpfully brutal feedback
and then I sat and made 8 different edits of the original photograph. So
I would post it a bit later.
Yep, the Rotschild boulevard in Tel Aviv is quite fascinating in many
ways. One of these ways is that it has all these Bahaus buildings, some
properly renovated and maintained and then all these banks and other
office buildings. Some are even smaller replicas of more well known
skyscrapers around the world. Fascinating place...
Thank you for your kind words.
Boris

Love that building, BTW. Very much in the "International Style" of Modern. How
old is it, do you know? Looks very 50s or 60s.
That's a contemporary style. There's a lot of them like that going up in
London. It's generally a nice style I think, with nice proportions, but they'll
overdo it as usual and we'll all get sick of it.
We just got rid of a building of a similar style to that, courtesy of
earthquake damage. It was an eyesore that was riddled with asbestos and I
don't think anyone will miss it. I do miss the big digital clock at the top
but it hadn't been running for years.
Cheers,
Dave
