I decided against that.

Really, I know the experience I want from e-mail, and the one Google provides isn't it.

The fact that they allow me to use it the way I want to, even though it probably hurts their bottom line, makes them tolerable.

You can always access Gmail via imap then you can manage the folders

Think of how I feel, I log into gmail through their pop interface. I never
see my spam folder unless I log into gmail's web interface, a procedure I
avoid like I would a bill collect from the mob.

I wish I could somehow turn gmail's spam filtering off, Firefox does a
pretty good job of rerouting spam, to it's spam folder, it's much more
convenient, and it actually learns what I consider to be spam.

Thanks Matthew & John. Should have occurred to me to look there,

:\

It was there with this reason: "Why is this message in Spam? It has a
from address in yahoo.com but has failed yahoo.com's required tests
for authentication." No idea why that happened. I hate the idea of
looking into subfolders. I'm not that anal about organizing emails,
and I hate the one more click to see a new PDML email (vs anything
else in my Inbox). Real stuff getting into SPAM folder are rare for
me, ordinarily.

Anyway, thanks. Mystery solved.

You're on Gmail. Have you checked your "junk" folder?

From what I've read here before that's the first place you should look
if you're not seeing some of the list messages.

I saw it on the list.

Cheers

It is now showing up in the PDML archive, but I haven't seen in in my
email yet. So, as an I.T. guy, I'm interested in how some people could
see this on the list and some people (like me) would NOT see the
message. Makes me wonder how many other messages I'm don't get and
why.
