I agree. Much of what you say maybe be true. But must ask. Some percent of used sales not going to fund purchase of brand new equipment from Pentax. Do you agree?
Some is simply selling to bring dollars. Others could be to fund purchase of non-Pentax gear. So if majority of people follow in same, then Pentax sells less new items at highest profit margin. The best thing for Pentax is if users consistently upgrade and purchase largely new Pentax items.
