I think I remember that -- I sent my 50-135 in around the same
time....  it took foreverrrr.  Something about waiting for parts to
come in on the slow boat from Japan.

On the bright side, at least I haven't been relying on this lens for
the last 18 months or so, so I won't miss it as much.
