Honestly, my wife has been reluctant to model for me. She is way
pickier than my other models and has forced me to work really hard to
get to the point where she's portrayed the way she wants to be seen.
She likes this one. :)

I have some tighter framed shots I have't processed yet. Pretty sure I
did a closeup like you're describing.

Yes, my workflow is to post-process entirely in colour then in the
final step convert it to b&w. But we shot this set intending to have
them in b&w and we did not spend any time harmonizing the colours.
Colour was used to get specific tones in the b&w rendering, so the b&w
is significantly better than the colour raw.
