That's a nice shot - could almost be somewhere in Africa.
There's only one eagle on the mural.

Yeah, I like that song and when I saw the mural, I realized that the
artist made a mistake. Can you spot it?
Yup - the line is ",,, standin' on a corner..." not "standin' on *the* corner
...
I think the artist might be remembering the song "standing on the corner watching
all the girls go by" an
older song ...
here is a shot of mine in Winslow from 1982

I was out in that part of the country in April 2005 when I was on
terminal leave after Iraq & saw the sign for the Winslow, AZ exit on
I-40. I figured "What the Hell!", I should give it a shot.
After I took that photo (using the self timer & running across the
street to get in front of the post office. The first time there's a car
turning left blocking me out.
After I took my photos I found out there was a "Standing on the corner
in Winslow Arizona" mural a couple of blocks away.
Looks like they now have a statue of Jackson Brown (who wrote the song
along with Glen Frey) and they appear to have a "flatbed Ford"
permanently parked there as well.

The Post Office is good enough for me.
There are a number of places out there I'd like to have the time to go
back to revisit & see if I can make a better photos.

Yes, I know that one, but it's only the title. MK isn't in the lyrics.
No "Standing on the corner" opportunity there.

Milton Keynes, UK. Wanted to use words from a song, but MK is sadly
deficient in that respect. Wouldn't it be groovy to say "I'm standing

As you may know I'm in South-Central Nebraska U.S. - near Grand
