Back in the Renaissance we used to send minstrels strolling round Europe 
singing at painters telling them what not to do with oil paint. How we laughed 
when that bloke from Vinci overdid his sfumato gimmick! Every bloody time, 
especially on that soppy cow, Gherardini's missus. 

And that Brunelleschi, would he draw a proper picture with everything piled on 
top of everything else? Would he fuck! It was all perspective, perspective, 
perspective. Knobhead. I bet he got his idea for the dome when saw himself in a 
mirror.

That Michelangelo though, he knew what he was doing. Big muscly blokes with 
tits, that's what a proper painting's about, I can tell you. None of that poncy 
chiaroscuro crap from him.
