Has anyone used a pinhole > cap on a Pentax? Can you see the image in the finder? Don't expect too much from the viewfinder image. It *will* be very dark, even on a bright, sunny day. What have you got to lose? Body caps are not that expensive. Ok, I never tried it, but I did try the DOF preview (with a MX and the lens stopped down to F22) and the image was hardly visible.
