Those sort of signs are testament to the innovation of
environmentalists where there is cause for concern. You won't find
them in official handbooks. I can think of 3 ad hoc signs from around
here. 1. "Hippo" signs after a couple of accidents at night. 2. A
"Crocodile" sign at Tzaneen (N of here) after one was run over. & 3.
A "Birds - Slow" sign S of here where, for some reason, a lot of
birds, especially doves, congregate on the road. Some people do care
& one hopes the drivers take note.
