I always remember it because Port wine is red & the red running light is
on the left side, so port is too the left. Starboard is the side that is
not port.

Even I know that! Port wine is a fortified wine from the Douro Valley.
Starboard is the lighted sign outside the theater telling you who in
playing in the movie they are showing.
