Hi Brian, I've done both and card reader is definitely quicker. Eye-fi in the TG850 means I don't have to open it all the time; its waterproof so I can transfer while it's wet. With other cameras it's been card reader.
Card reader is definitely cheaper - jaycar is your friend :-) Ciao, Pete Mac in Melbourne On 18 April 2017 at 08:11, Brian Walters <supera1...@fastmail.fm> wrote: > Hi Pete > > Thanks for the feedback. > > I'm in two minds about this - might be just as easy to connect a card > reader directly to the tablet - a little more cumbersome but, for the > small number of image transfers involved, it still might be acceptable. > Still contemplating... > > Cheers > > Brian > > ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > Brian Walters > Western Sydney Australia > http://lyons-ryan.org/southernlight/ > > > > On Sun, Apr 16, 2017, at 05:36 PM, Peter McIntosh wrote: >> Hi Brian, >> >> I've got a 16Gb Eyefi Mobi card in my Olympus TG-850.
