The all-mechanical M-series Leicas allow for shutter speeds between the
marked settings. Setting the shutter speed between 1/125 and 1/250, for
example, will yield a shutter speed about half-way between the two.
While there's no way of knowing exactly what that speed is, it's
sometimes helpful to have that option.

Do Pentax cameras such as the MX, K-series, Spotties, and the like,
function in a similar manner?
