Bob, we flew to AMS, spent two nights there; then Utrecht, Antwerp, Trier, Petite-Pierre, and Paris; then home from CDG. It was a slightly-delayed 40th anniversary trip; we visited the original patch of Joy's family (in a moist area east of Utrecht) and the native stomping ground of the Womers (in the Saarland, about a half-hour from Trier). In Paris we had a small flat near the Rue des Martyrs, and wandered about for two days with a side trip to Chartres.
Alas, it wasn't until Sunday that I realized that I hadn't contacted you or Chris about a rendezvous; but the rail strike Friday and Saturday would have made it difficult anyway. Altogether a very pleasant vacation. More pics will come as time to wade through them permits.
