You do not sound like a major science fiction fan. Any hard-core SF fan knows of Worldcon, and even if he hasn't been to a Worldcon many SF fans go to one of the regional cons like Boskone (the Boston regional convention held each February). Larry - Have a great time at Worldcon. I have gotten too old and creaky, and am too agoraphobic, to go to cons anymore. Folks are puzzled that I like to photograph gravestones - although there are lots of people in graveyards for some reason they do not trigger agoraphobia. :-) Dale H.
