It is in line with the interview, posted a few days ago, with the Ricoh engineer predicting the resurgence of DSLRs, after the novelty of mirrorless wears off, that received such derision in the comments.

On the other hand based on this guy's voyage of discovery he seems a bit, flighty, so maybe his love affair with the K-1 II will prove just as ephemeral as was the dalliances with Sony and Fuji.

Still it would be nice if he manages to drive some of his fans to Pentax.  They could certainly use the encouragement, (where is that K-3 successor they kept promising).
