Shel wrote: "Hire better marketing and promotion people." Actually, the marketing people that I've dealt with in the Pentax organization throughout Europe have all been very good indeed. The problem stems from a lack of budget to sponsor any type of meaningful marketing program and an utter lack of commitment (possibly even understanding)from Japan to the necessity of effective marketing.
