This hasn't really affected me all that much. Since I'm already retired & living on my pension & Social Security, I haven't been laid off from work or forced to go in to work & risk my life.

I was pretty well prepared before it began since my "lifestyle" was already mostly socially distant.

I'm doing alright, but I am concerned for those who don't have my good fortune. I'm glad to hear that some are managing to weather the storm. I wish things would get better for more though.

I wish there was more I could do other than just staying out of the way; trying to avoid getting sick myself & adding to the problem.

There was a local news story on this topic just a few days ago IIRC. There
are farmer's markets in many communities here, and at first they were all
seriously bashed by the lockdown. Then they had a bright idea: Several of
them organized, created a website, and posted their wares there. So customers
can go to the website, choose what they want to buy. The vendors package
their stuff and gather it together at a distribution point, the customers
stop by for a pick-up only.

The scheme works: keeps the businesses going, and minimizes contact points.
It's not been "universal" but for the ones that did it, it has been
successful.

I wonder how the farmers who bring produce (& other stuff) to the Farmer's
Markets are doing? I hope they're finding some way to keep body & soul
together.
