You've never been in a garden center in the spring, have you. There is no physical distancing in them. It's almost always a party of complete strangers comparing notes about what they grew last year, and what plants look nice this year, etc.

A few of my neighbors have been doing some fairly intensive gardening in the last month or so. They're outside in their yards, but not encroaching on anyone else's space. What would they do if they couldn't buy planting materials.

Maybe watch Netflix?
