Thanks ann. I think you’d enjoy it here. No ospreys around here that I know of. It’s most likely a juvenile herring gull although possibly a lesser black-backed gull. The European herring gull is the most common around here.
Just as I’m writing this an enormous great black-backed gull has flown past - bloody massive thing, looks like it could take a cow. Don’t see many of them around.
