Went for a walk today to have a look at a spot where they used to feed horses hanging from a gibbet to hounds. The knacker’s yard is no longer there, but the kennels are.
A scene in one of Thomas Hardy’s novels, The Hand of Ethelberta, was set here, featuring this rather gruesome activity. My camera (Fuji X100) somehow put itself into panorama mode, so I had no choice - I couldn’t figure out how to put it back to normal. https://adobe.ly/2BXDULF -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
