I have had a similar experience, but have found that the severity of the outgassing varies. The Tiffen 4-pack wallets that I prefer for the most commonly used filters for my K-70 have had less outgassing than the no-name wallets from Amazon that I use for my less used filters such as the CC filters that I have been collecting (used) in preparation for some Strobist experiments.
