We had an almighty thunderstorm (51mm) late on Thursday afternoon. A large tree fell across powerlines causing causing a 3hr interruption but it was worth the inconvenience for the rain. Yesterday we visited nearby Sable Dam in the Kruger Park to discover it is now 100% full. As soon as the vegetation grows around the edges, the waterfowl should return in droves. Here are a view looking S from the road at the N end & a 2 frame Pano of the NW corner which is really the headwater of one of the streams feeding the dam.
