It happened just over four weeks ago so I’m well on the road to recovery now. I was in A&E for about four hours - you go to the front of the queue if you have a head injury, so I was seen and treated straight away.
Once my head had cleared I noticed they’d written ‘?stroke’ against my name on the whiteboard. I was looking forward to that, but sadly none of the nurses stroked me.
