Bob, pics of Spitalfields on line look considerably more up-market that the place was when we lived in London 40 years ago (Egad! That long!). There’s also no market in Old City that compares with the current Spitalfields market. Old City is very compact, about 1/4 mi north-south and east-west, and ranges from run-down to fairly pricey in that small space.
