I agree. I’m a paid-up subscriber. They’re far from perfect but at least they provide an alternative to the right-wing billionaire-owned media which no longer even pretends to be a free press. Returning to Pentax, I’ve been watching an Italian film (I Cento Passi) about an anti-mafia journalist from Sicily in the 70s, and was reminded that Letizia Battaglia, a Sicilian photojournalist of the period, was a long-time Pentax user. If you search her name + Pentax you can see various pictures of her with a K1000, an LX and other Pentax cameras.
