...or do you think they were finished with the 200mm macro? I must say, they
are far from being a complete 'pro' lens series, with nothing wider than a
24, no fast 50's, and no primes larger than 85 till the 2 - 200's. Seems a
shame, but I wonder if this limited lens philosophy of connoiseurism has
stopped progress on this very fine line of lenses that I have invested a lot
of money in.
I guess the deal was the 28-70, the 80-200, and the 250 - 600 should
cover it all, along with the 24, 85, and 200 macro, as well as a few
supertelephoto primes.
The limiteds are lovely but limited. I for one hope the FA* series
continues, especially WITH powerzoom.
