My advice(and I'm not a pro):

  1) Buy good film.

I suggest Kodak Portra 160 NC, Fuji NPS(160), Fuji NPH(400), Fuji
Reala(100), Kodak TriX Pan(400)and Ilford HP5(400).

  2) Use the equipment that you know.

  3) Use a good film processor/printer.

  4) You need a flash other than RTF.

Get one now and learn how to use it. A soft box attachment may come in
handy. Recommended flash: AF500FTZ. I'm sure the group can recommend others.

  5) You need a back-up Pentax 35mm body.

  6) I suspect that the 28-105 will cover most of your needs.

7)Get plenty of batteries for the cameras and flash.

OOOPPs! I guess I have "busted" the $150.00 budget.

Hope this helps.

Robert
