No no....I'm no newbie.  The red-eye function is off.  That OF COURSE was
the first thing I checked.  Believe me, the Pentax Rep. and I went over
everything.  Wonder if it is a design fault.  And again, I wouldn't be so
silly as to have red-eye reduction on and wonder why I got a double flash.
It's not a stored property in the memory either.

Any other ideas? :)
