The lens mount doesn't seem to wear faster than metal but then again it's 
mainly a backup body for me.  I do cradle the lens especially it's a heavy 
one.  (I don't think I'd use a ZX-M on a tripod with a heavy long lens that 
didn't have it's own mount).
